Who are the Sayner Barnstormers?
Located in Vilas County, in northern Wisconsin, we are a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing you, the snowmobiler, some of the finest maintained and signed trails in the country. Through the combined efforts of our club and our great neighboring clubs, we think Vilas County is the best place to ride.
What does a snowmobile club do, you might wonder?
Snowmobile clubs are much more than jumping into a groomer and grooming. Before the engines fire up, countless hours are spent applying for funding, planning and building trails, signing and brushing trails, selling map ads, drawing maps, keeping track of membership, etc. Not enough snowmobilers realize as they're heading down the trail, what it took for that trail to be there, much less be there in a rideable condition. Taking care of snowmobile trails involves countless hours of summertime work as well. This site is dedicated to informing people what it takes to bring you one of the finest trail systems in the world.

What the heck is "Ernie D's Buy-A-Tank Program"?
The Barnstormers' Fundraisers for 2009-2010 were a Success!
The Barnstormers raised nearly $5,000 at the four main fundraisers for the season. That's fantastic considering the snow conditions.
Vilas County Trails Are Now Closed
